Liberia (LIR) is the closest international airport just under an hour drive to the house. San Jose is 3 hours away.

No, transportation can be arranged for you and prices can be provided before booking. If you do wish to rent a car, we recommend having it delivered to the house. There is only one small parking spot available at the house. There is a parking lot in Las Catalinas but a daily fee may apply.

Dollars are welcome everywhere but you may receive change in colones. All major credit cards are accepted throughout Las Catalinas. There is an ATM located in Copper and Stone.

Early in the season you can usually expect an afternoon shower. Rarely does it rain all day. Towards the end of the season heavier longer rains are more likely.

We have one pack-n-play, one highchair, childrens dishes, children’s books and board games.

Yes, Las Catalinas has its own water purification plant. There are also Life Water filtration pitchers in the house if you would like an added level of security.

Yes, Beach Club entry is provided with your stay. Guests are responsible for their consumables.

All beaches in Costa Rica are free and open to the public. All of the hiking trails around town are free. The splash pad in Plaza Mercado is free. There may be other special events going on in town during your stay. More information can be provided closer to arrival.

Yes, no more than 30 guests and a separate contract and security deposit is required.

No, the house does have many stairs and is not ideal for individuals with mobility issues.

No, if you have a service animal use must provide documentation of training before the reservation will be confirmed.

CONCIERGE:
$150 – $200 per week or $25 – $40 per day for shorter stays.
HOUSEKEEPING:

Restaurants/Transportation:
If you would like to show your appreciation, 10% is a kind gesture but not necessary.

Yes, our concierge can help arrange that for you. Golf carts are not permitted in town but can be driven on the main road. Your group may find this more convenient than walking through town.

Las Catalinas is a growing community and construction noise and inconveniences vary greatly throughout town. Currently, there are four homes being built by Casa Chameleon behind the Villa. Construction is to be completed June 2025. Construction hours are from 8 a.m.- 5p.m. They do not work every day but we do not know their schedule. We will do our best to share any information we have with you that could impact your stay.
